Kights @ Akitio

Edwyn and Jenny Kight have been farming Akitio Station since 1980 and are the 5th generation to have stewardship of this property since its original purchase in 1876.

Their three adult children Rebecca, Bridget and Charlotte are pursuing varied careers offshore from New Zealand.

Akitio Station is a long coastal ridge as the photograph shows, and the business involves sheep farming for prime lamb, finishing cattle, forestry and tourism by way of a commercial walk akitio-glenorawalk.co.nz

The east Coast of the North Island generally experiences long dry summers. The recreational opportunities our location offers are highly sought after.

We are excited to be part of Coastal Spring Lamb and look forward to supplying our best lamb to New Zealand consumers.
